The album began to take shape when Nikos Nomikos asked me to set some lyrics to music.
Many years ago he had written lyrics for Costas Tsicaderis, but, as far as he knew,
they were never used. Would I like to have a go? Of course, I agreed to try.
When Michael Pais heard the result of my efforts, he remembered that he too had a
poem which would make a good song. It did.
Finally, I added a song of my own—a setting to music of a poem I wrote some years ago,
which uses surreal images to describe romantic love.
I must note here that the song/recording of "Celebration" has the approval of its muse,
and was released on her birthday!

Εκεί ψηλά στον ουρανό,
στο φόντο της Σελήνης,
απλώνει ο Έρωτας χλωμό
σεντόνι για να γύρει
να κοιμηθεί στην ηδονή.
Μα ωσάν η αυγή ροδίσει,
τρέχει σαν άστρο να κρυφτεί
στου Αυγερινού την δύση.
Στη μέθη ο Έρωτας θαρρεί
πως κατοικεί στα ύψη.
Μπορεί να καίγεται στη Γη,
μα φέγγει ως στην Σελήνη.
Αλλάζει χρώμα η ζωή
στο ερωτικό παιχνίδι.
Σ’ όλα τα γύρο ταιριαστή
απόχρωση τους δίνει.
